Sunday

We meet together at 10am on Sunday morning to share stories, explore the Bible and respond to what God is showing us. Anyone is welcome to attend, whether you’re a regular church-going or it all feels strange and new!

Children and Families

Children join us in the Sunday morning service until approximately 10:20 before choosing to either stay in the service or head upstairs to a separate programme run by our team of parent volunteers. Parents are welcome to stay with their children at this programme if they wish.

Youth

Check out the youth page for all you need to know about what goes on for intermediate and high-school aged young people.

Connect groups

There are several groups where people meet up during the week in homes around Petone and the Western hills of Lower Hutt to do life together through reading and discussing sections of the Bible, praying for each other and just through spending time together. Food is a feature of some groups! Each of these groups has a different flavour.

If you’d like to find out more about these connect groups please contact [email protected]

Some of these groups have a specific focus, for example:

Young Adults

Meet regularly to talk about life, faith, the universe and everything!

Coffee and Craft

Meet weekly during school terms 10-12 on Thursday mornings in Petone. You don’t have to be hugely crafty to come along, and for most things there will be someone who give a bit of advice if you need help. The purpose of the group is not really the crafts: it’s the friendship and support of the group.

Pastoral Care Team

Looking out for each other is something that we all do in different ways when we are part of community, most pastoral care happens naturally among friends. Sometimes though things can get missed, and the pastoral care team are available to support you if you, or someone you know, need a little bit more extra support. It could be anything from wanting a phone call or a visit, to having support for a bereavement or loss. If we think that more specialist help is required we will also try to link you up with someone that could help.
